Improved Accessibility

At the moment, Dr. Johnson’s House is inaccessible to people who use wheelchairs and others with mobility issues. We seek to rectify the situation by acquiring an adjoining building that already has built-in elevators. This solution would transform the museum experience without significantly altering the historic House. It would also more than double the usable square footage and improve cultural and educational outreach.
